Delta Airlines Responds to Ann Coulter Criticisms: "Unacceptable and Unnecessary"
DeltaAirlines hit back at Conservative commentator Ann Coulter who launched a two-day Twitter tirade after she was booted out of a seat with extra leg room on a Delta flight.
Coulter claims that she pre-booked a specific seat and paid a premium ($30) for extra legroom.
Ann Coulter went on a Twitter rant, declaring Delta "the worst airline in America" for moving her from an aisle seat to a window in the same row.
But she apparently didn't take it, as she would keep flying Delta and complaining about Delta in subsequent years, up to this weekend's Twitter eruption.

Coulter also accused Delta of having non-working Wi-Fi, "probably to prevent passengers from tweeting from the plane about how they're being treated".
"Additionally, your insults about our other customers and employees are unacceptable and unnecessary", Delta said in a second tweet.
In an ironic twist of fate, Coulter's ordeal came after she expressed her famously unusual opinion in April when Dr. David Dao of Kentucky was violently dragged off a United Airlines flight that was allegedly overbooked.
@AnnCoulter We're sorry you did not receive the preferred seat you paid for and will refund your $30.
Coulter has managed to use her alleged inconvenience by Delta to shoehorn her complaints about everything from the Affordable Care Act to immigration. And we hold each other accountable when that does not happen. Delta said its customers had complied, the flight departed without incident and crew members did not report any problems. Delta expects mutual civility throughout the entire travel experience. The airline said it "inadvertently" moved Coulter to 15A, a window seat, to accommodate several passengers with seating requests. "Here's the woman given my PRE-BOOKED seat", she wrote.
