Closed Beta For Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Being Held In Japan Later This Month

Acting as a follow-up to the PlayStation Portable title of the same name and its sequel, Dissidia Final Fantasy features a similar combat system to the games before it. Players use a mixture of courageous attacks, which increase the amount of damage they can deal, and HP attacks that damage their opponents.

The Comrades beta will grant players access to three different missions. The first is a hunting mission against a Garula pack, the second is an escort mission to protect a supply truck, and the third is a mission to defeat a Naga.

Just like in the main game, players will carry out the missions in teams of four, either with other human players or with AI-controlled characters.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is a 3v3 arena fighting game with action RPG elements. "It just comes with some changes and compromises that were, at times, hard for this long-time Final Fantasy fan to come to grips with". Players can adjust practically every aspect of their character's face and body, with additional options for things such as colors and tattoos. The closed beta test will begin at 9:00 A.M. PT on August 27 and will end at the same time on September 4, 2017.

Prior to the start of this beta, Square Enix will release an update that's meant to resolve matchmaking issues. Visit the official Stormblood site for more on the latest expansion. Once these quests are completed you will receive even specific loot drops, like "a dyeable Faire version of a popular set of equipment". For now, players can enjoy the additions made by Update 1.13, which includes the redesigned Magitek Exosuits and the return of the Moogle Chocobo Carnival.
