Akshay Kumar Makes A Content Driven Film For The Masses With Toilet: Ek Prem Katha

The film is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and is backed by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. Akshay who is extremely involved in the film, is spreading the core message of cleanliness throughout the promotional activities. Statistics have revealed that diseases are much widespread in cities because of hygiene issues.

"The script of the film came to me". On his take on the movie he said, "This is a film on a subject that deals not only with sanitation issues but also women all over the world and Bhumi has been very courageous to work in it".

In the video, we see Bhumi Pednekar walking into her room.

"When I read about it I was really shocked, 54% of Indians didn't have toilets". "Tagging me as the "village girl" is a compliment for me as 70 per cent of our country's population is rural. Now, people go and watch films, which are entertaining and also respects the credibility and sensibility of the audience", Kher said. However, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha's producers and distributors are expanding their film's reach to an additional 20 territories including Greece, Czech Republic, Hungary, Malta, Croatia, Estonia and Latvia.

After all the heavy-duty talk, we asked Akshay about appearing ageless enough to complement young actresses. I don't know from where this news comes that the film has got 8 cuts...

Akshay's films are not biggest openers but because of like ability towards the content they run for at least 4 weeks in the theater and get that many eyeballs.

Apart from this, some expletives, like Hindi word 'haraami' too have been removed.
