Starbucks' New Frappuccino Makes Us So Excited For Fall
"Our take on Horchata is a creamy, cool, cinnamon-sweet Frappuccino drink blended to perfection", the Starbuck's site reads. The borderline dessert in a cup features super sweet caramel and warm spice flavors, which the company claims is the flawless combination to end summer and help welcome fall.
Starbucks drew inspiration for this newhorchata beverage from the various iterations of the drink from around the world. And just like classic horchata - a popular chilled rice beverage in Latin America and Spain - it's loaded with cinnamon flavor, courtesy of the coffee chain's cult favorite cinnamon dolce syrup. It's then topped with whipped cream, of course, caramel, and cinnamon and sugar sprinkles.
The 16 oz grande cup comes with total fat 13 gram of 20 percent and saturated fat 8 gram of 40 percent.
While it's not hot coffee weather just yet, if you're ready for fall to start ASAP you'll likely find this mix of caramel and cinnamon a flawless way to say goodbye to summer while you eagerly await PSL season to start.
