The Milwaukee Brewers will look to complete the sweep of the Cubs after dismantling Chicago by a final score of 15-2 on Saturday. Considering the Brewers were being built to win in another year or two more so than right now, they can't afford to be down a man at any position for the stretch run.
The Chicago Cubs were held to just six hits and two runs for their latest game at home.
After the first two innings were scoreless, the Milwaukee Brewers erupted for an eight-run third inning. "Eventually we didn't get anybody hurt so that's probably the biggest positive tonight". "Somehow, it seems we always have good games here and we have a lot of confidence in this stadium and it just feels good, especially against this team".
A's 11-11, Astros 1-4 • Normally reliable Houston reliever Chris Devenski allowed two runs in the seventh inning, including Chad Pinder's tiebreaking homer with two outs, and Houston was swept a doubleheader at Oakland. Starting pitcher Chase Anderson contributed two runs of his own, while Jesus Aguilar added an RBI in the win for the Brew Crew. "With the guys swinging the bats well and carrying it over from (Friday) to today, I just tried to get the bats back in in their hands and get out of their way". Kyle Schwarber had one of the RBIs while Leonys Martin picked up the other.
Win one for the businessman and his day games!
