United Kingdom Prime Minister Theresa May reportedly emphasized the significance of the 2015 nuclear accord negotiated between Iran and the United States and worldwide powers during a recent meeting with Secretary of State Rex TillersonRex Wayne TillersonUS limiting visas in four countries for refusing deportations Senate votes down Paul's bid to revoke war authorizations 'Game of Thrones' polling company takes on White House shakeups MORE.

The Secretary of State and Foreign Secretary appeared together following a day of talks on worldwide security taking in North Korea, Iran and Libya.

Including China and Russian Federation, the top U.S. diplomat called on all nations to take "new measures" against North Korea over its launch early Friday local time of what the U.S. Pacific Command said appeared to be an intermediate-range ballistic missile.

But the United Nations agreed last week to weaker measures against Pyongyang - although the United Nations is banning ban textile exports, an important source of its revenue for the North.

The US secretary of state told reporters that Iran was not meeting the expectations laid out in the worldwide nuclear agreement that was reached back in 2015.

South Korea conducted its own missile exercise as Pyongyang fired its missile, taking into account the distance to North Korea's firing site, according to NBC News.

On Thursday, Tillerson singled out China as the supplier of most of North Korea's oil and Russian Federation as the largest employer of North Korean laborers working overseas.

China opposes North Korea's nuclear weapons development but worries that greater economic pressure on the North could trigger a collapse.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson yesterday said he believes the latest United Nations sanctions on North Korea are too weak, and also voiced skepticism of the Obama administration's nuclear disarmament deal with Iran.

Tillerson recalled the preamble of the agreement, which expected the deal "will positively contribute to regional and worldwide peace and security", and contrasted it with the regime's continued malign activity in the region.

The Foreign Secretary will also chair a meeting on the situation in Libya with Mr Tillerson, and the French political director, as well as the Italian and Egyptian foreign ministers, and representatives from the UN and United Arab Emirates.
