The vacation also marked Obama's return to his love of watersports activities he couldn't participate in while he served as president
"The mix of our demonstrated innovation and Virgin's ability in transportation, operations, security, and traveler experience will quicken the commercialization period of our organization's advancement", included Giegal, fellow benefactor, and leader of designing at Hyperloop One.Virgin as of now has interests in rail organizations, luxury ships, aircrafts and an incipient space tourism operation.
The company announced Thursday that Branson and Virgin Group have invested an unspecified sum of money into the project, leading to the rebranding and creation of a "strategic partnership" that sees Branson join Hyperloop One's board of directors. Headquartered in Los Angeles, the company was Co-founded by Executive Chairman, Shervin Pishevar and President of Engineering, Josh Giegel, and is led by CEO Rob Lloyd.
Its tracks use magnetic levitation and the pod glides at airline speeds for long distances. Now just three high-profile companies are interested in the Hyperloop idea: Hyperloop One, Hyperloop Transportation Technologies and His Muskiness' own Boring Company. The exact size of Virgin's investment has not been disclosed.

Branson said the company's test site in Nevada impressed him.
"Together with Virgin, we will not only transform how we live, we will rethink how it feels to travel by creating a passenger experience that people will enjoy and look forward to riding".
The statement explains that the duration of the longest test was 10.6 seconds, with a top speed of 192mph (310km/h) - or 86 meters per second. The infamous High Speed Two railway line, planned to run between London and various Midlands cities, is supposed to run at around 400kph (250mph) using conventional electric trains on newly built track.
This isn't the first futuristic and unproven transportation project for Virgin Group. The West Coast Main Line, which HS2 will mostly duplicate, is at near full capacity during morning peak hours on its southern stretches, with 200kph (125mph) trains running at intervals of just 120 seconds. Around the world, they'll work with many different operators, chosen by customers.
