Donna Brazile Says she can Prove Clinton Rigged Primary Implicates Wasserman Schultz

"The charge that Hillary Clinton was somewhere incapacitated is quite frankly ludicrous", Perez said, though he noted he had "great respect" for Brazile.

"We were shocked to learn the news that Donna Brazile actively considered overturning the will of the Democratic voters by attempting to replace Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine as the Democratic Presidential and Vice Presidential nominees", they said in the statement.

Warren made the comments during two separate interviews, during which the MA senator was asked about book excerpts from Donna Brazile, the former interim acting chair of the DNC, which were published by Politico.

The Washington Post, which has obtained a copy of the book, ran more highlights yesterday, including that she had considered replacing Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine as nominees with Vice President Joe Biden and running mate Senator Cory Booker at the last minute, after Clinton almost fainted on September 11, 2016. Nevertheless, the revelation Brazile exposed in this excerpt provides further proof and vindication for Bernie Sanders supporters that the DNC was working on behalf of the Clinton Campaign.

"I had tried to search out any other evidence of internal corruption that would show that the DNC was rigging the system to throw the primary to Hillary, but I could not find any in party affairs or among the staff", Brazile writes in her book, which will be released Tuesday (Nov. 7). "Go to hell. I'm going to tell my story", Brazile told ABC's "This Week".

Brazile writes that she considered initiating Clinton's removal after she collapsed while leaving a 9/11 memorial service in New York City.

The Clinton people - up to and including the candidate herself - believe Sanders' attacks on her during the primary hurt her chances against Trump in the general election. And I don't want to get run over.

Brazile said she kept her own counsel during this period and did not talk about it with Biden.

Brazile says the more significant concern was that Clinton campaign was "anemic" and had chosen on "the odor of failure". "It is particularly troubling and puzzling that she would seemingly buy into false Russian-fueled propaganda, spread by both the Russians and our opponent, about our candidate's health".

"This happened, we knew it happened then, now is the time to go forward", Weaver said on CNN at the time. "For those who are telling the me to shut up, they told Hillary [Clinton] that a couple of months ago".

"We do not recognize the campaign she portrays in the book", the letter read.

"I told Bernie I had found Hillary's Joint Fundraising Agreement".

"Because this is a story of a young girl who started in American politics at the age of 9, who continues to fight each and every week of her life", she added.

On Sunday, Perez responded to the complaints, saying Brazile never had the power to restore the ticket as Clinton was not damaged.
