Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Star Terry Crews Files Police Report On Sexual Assault

Terry Crews filed a police report on Wednesday regarding an alleged sexual assault which he revealed on Twitter about a month ago, according to a report by TMZ.

He cited the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault and harassment scandal as his motivation for coming forward. He tweeted, "This whole thing with Harvey Weinstein is giving me PTSD. Why?"

Crews said he talked to everyone he knew who worked with the executive about what happened to him, adding that the executive called him the next day to apologize but "never really explained why he did what he did".

Washington D.C. [U.S.A], November 9: Last month, actor and former National Football League player Terry Crews, asserted that he was once groped by a high level Hollywood executive.

"Jumping back I said What are you doing?!" My wife saw everything [and] we looked at him like he was insane.

He wrote that the man groped "his privates" in front of his wife and then "grinned like a jerk".

"People have to be held accountable", he tells a photographer of why he chose to file a report before adding he plans to file a lawsuit. Also, news outlets have noted that Adam Venit has since taken a leave of absence from the agency since the news surfaced.

As the alleged incident is within the statute of limitations, the report could lead to a criminal investigation.

Venit does not represent Crews, but he does represent the likes of Eddie Murphy, Diane Keaton and Russell Brand. "Who's going to believe you?" Crews has not specifically named the person who groped him, but mentioned to his followers at the time that it's often easier to just let these injustices go.
