There aren't many details for the sequel, but several plot leaks have indicated that it will move away from the militarisation of dinos we saw in the first "Jurassic World" and more toward kinder animal treatment. But the first footage from director J.A. Bayona's sequel has arrived online and it features something for everyone...because everyone loves either Chris Pratt or baby dinosaurs, right? The six-second video shows Pratt's raptor-whispering character, Owen Brady, petting a cute baby Velociraptor. Now, it's not a trailer, nor is it even a teaser, but it's still a dinosaur, and it's still Chris Pratt. Or it could just be a flashback to a baby Blue.
Jeff Goldblum is also re-joining the franchise as cynic Dr Ian Malcolm, while Ted Levine, Rafe Spall, Toby Jones and Geraldine Chaplin are also on board.
'Til then, we'll wait in eager anticipation for the first trailer, which according to Popculture.com, is likely to be released during screenings of The Last Jedi, which starts from December 14 in Australia.
The original Jurassic Park, released in 1993, featured just 63 individual visual effects shots taking up just four minutes of screentime.
