ESPN's Katie Nolan calls Donald Trump a 'stupid person' - WARNING GRAPHIC LANGUAGE

ESPN Warns Katie Nolan About Her 'Inappropriate' Comments; Called Donald Trump 'F*cking Stupid & Retard' (VIDEO)

While Nolan's comments occured on a talk show and not on Twitter or Facebook her attempt to quickly explain away her outburst may have been due in part to ESPN's social media guidelines for journalists

Nolan, who has had no problem speaking her mind in the past, made a comment about President Trump that is sure to have some upset. Hill was suspended for two weeks in October for violating the network's social media guidelines.

ESPN personality Katie Nolan, who came over from FOX Sports just a few months back, joined Viceland's Desus & Mero this week and ventured a bit outside the lines of sports commentary.

"That's because he's a f-- stupid person", said Nolan. It tells its employees that they "should refrain from overt partisanship or endorsement of particular candidates" and should "avoid personal attacks and inflammatory rhetoric".

As a result, ESPN spoke with Nolan about her remarks. After sharing her thoughts about her new role at ESPN, where she's only been since last October after four years with Fox Sports, the topic quickly switched to Trump. Since joining ESPN, she has appeared on shows such as "Highly Questionable" with Dan Le Batard and one episode of a podcast that has yet to be officially named. The guidelines also mandate that "communication with producers and editors must take place prior to commentary on any political and social issues to manage volume and ensure a fair and effective presentation". And given the late night comedy setting and the irreverent nature of her entire appearance, the sense is the brass in Bristol will give her a pass. Fast-forward to the 13:00 mark for her Trump comments. His work has been featured on Sports Illustrated, ESPN.com, FOXSports.com, CBSSports.com and many others.

Katie Nolan apparently isn't high on President Trump's intelligence. Hill was on the receiving end of tons of backlash, with even the President himself taking to Twitter to pressure the network to fire her. You bet, said sources.
