$570 million Powerball jackpot-winning ticket sold in New Hampshire
Lottery officials tweeted late Friday that the 7-Eleven in Daly City that sold the oh-so-close ticket is at 411 Gellert Blvd. One Oklahoma and one Texas winning ticket included the optional Megaplier, so those two tickets are worth $3 million because the 3X Megaplier was drawn.
The winning numbers in Friday night's drawing were 28-30-39-59-70 with a Mega Ball of 10.
Someone who bought a Mega Millions ticket in Florida won the fourth-largest jackpot in the 15-year history of the lottery game.
The biggest Powerball jackpot ever won was $590.5 million claimed by one ticket-holder in Florida in 2013.
That would be the fifth-largest jackpot in that game's history.
The Mega Millions jackpot now resets to its starting amount of $40 million ($25 million cash) for the next drawing on January 9.
The identity of the victor was not immediately available, although the victor can not remain anonymous under Florida law. However, under Florida law, the person can not remain anonymous.
The victor has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim the prize. The odds of picking the right six numbers for the Mega Millions jackpot are 303 million to 1, the game said. It's the fourth largest jackpot in the 15 year history of Mega Millions, and the first since a $42 million prize was shared by winners in MI and Rhode Island on October 13.
