Candice Renea Diaz 24 and Brad Edward Fields 28 are charged with felony murder murder child abuse and torture
America's Most Wanted couple is on the run after police say a brutalized and severely burned four-year-old girl was left for dead at a MI mobile home park.
Fields was also charged as a habitual offender, police said.
Police responded to a 911 call around 10:45 a.m. on January 1 for an unresponsive 4-year-old girl.
She was taken to Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor by ambulance. A Washtenaw County Medical Examiner ruled the little girl's death as a homicide, with signs of "Battered Child Syndrome".
The couple are believed to be driving a black 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier with the MI license plate DTR1854.
Michigan State Police told WWJ U.S. Marshals located 24-year-old Candice Diaz and 28-year-old Brad Fields on the run near the Georgia-Florida line.
If you see Diaz and Fields, you should not confront them but call police.
The child since identified as Gabby Barrett, was discovered with scald wounds all over her body shortly before 11am on January 1 at her family's mobile home on Greenmeadow Drive in Sumpter Township.
