OC Darrell Bevell was already fired early Wednesday morning.

This comes immediately after the news of longtime Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, who has also been a member of the Seattle coaching staff since Cable joined prior to the 2011-12 National Football League season, was also relieved of his coaching duties. "We go into a game knowing what the defense is going to give us, the situations that we're going to be in". Per Rapoport, the Seahawks are letting Richard pursue "another opportunity", although it's unclear what that opportunity is. Offensively, that's what we've seen countless time and time again that we do not execute the way we should. You guys (media) can blame Bev all you want to, but the truth of the matter is, Bev is not the problem.

Darrell Bevell's time in Seattle has come to an end. The former Washington and USC coach worked for Carroll with the Trojans.

Bevell, the only coordinator fired by Carroll since he axed Bates, oversaw the two biggest back-to-back regular-season wins in franchise history, 58-0 and 50-17 victories over Arizona and Buffalo late in 2012.

With the offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator and QBs coaches now reportedly gone, the Seahawks are experiencing a lot of turnover. Wilson has been sacked 40 or more times in each of the last five seasons. Seattle finished fourth overall in points and passing yards (4,061) and third overall in rushing (2,268). It's part of the reason Seattle's run game was so dominant in those four seasons.

Seattle fell to 23rd in rushing in 2017, with Wilson leading the team on the ground with 586 yards.

For fans in the Pacific Northwest, this is likely positive news. Cable, who joined Seattle's staff the same year as Bevell, is also not assured of being brought back next season.
