Disgraced filmmaker Harvey Weinstein was slapped in the face and cursed out by a restaurant patron as he left an Arizona eatery Tuesday, new video reveals.

The report comes courtesy of the gossip intelligence agency that is TMZ, which claims that Weinstein was eating at the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort when two men took a seat at the table next to him.

One of the men - Steve - tells TMZ he walked up to Weinstein and told him he loved his movies and would like to take a photo with him.

The man allegedly went up to Harvey and said, "you're a piece of sh*t for what you did to these women", and he then attempted to attack Harvey.

Harvey Weinstein, pictured on January 8, 2017, reportedly declined to call the police after he was struck.

TMZ obtained footage of the encounter, which shows the Steve backhanding Weinstein twice across the face. The clip shows Steve giving a messy-looking Weinstein two quick back-handed slaps to the face, and the hits were apparently hard enough to make the Hollywood rapist-who appeared to be drunk as well-stumble a bit.

Following these cases and reports, Weinstein was terminated from his organization, restricted from the Producer's Guild of America and removed from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

In October, TMZ also reported that Weinstein arrived in Arizona for rehab.

More than 80 women have come forward with accusations of inappropriate behaviour, rape and misconduct against Weinstein. Among the accusers were actresses Ashley Judd, Salma Hayek, Lupita Nyong'o and Gwyneth Paltrow.

He denies all allegations of non-consensual sex.

Weinstein is under investigation by authorities in New York, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills and London.
