Don't make this rookie Tinder mistake

Claudia and Hayden have a donut date in the works. Missouri State has over 23,000 students, so it stands to reason that there would be a bunch of Claudia's.

For those of you who are lucky enough not to be familiar with life on the Tinds, swiping left means turning someone down.

"I'm really glad there's only 42 because I mean if it was a more common name it would have taken a lot longer to find every single one of them", Hayden explained. But an accidental swipe in the wrong direction is usually forgotten pretty quickly - unless you're Missouri State University freshman Hayden Moll, who decided an accidental swipe left on a girl named Claudia was not going to rob him of the opportunity of maybe, possibly getting to meet up with her for a late-night snack.

If you've used Tinder, you may have accidentally swiped left on one or more girls for a litany of reasons, but the worst is doing it accidentally to someone you actually like. He liked the look of her, the pics of her and her friends and her mom, and just when he went to swipe right, his finger developed a mind of its own and swiped the opposite way and, just like that, there went his dream girl, into the abyss of other rejected matches.

With the little information he had about "Claudia", Moll searched the woman's name on the state university's website on Saturday and found 22 people named Claudia, Fox 2 Now reported. Perhaps with every photo you scrolled through, with every word of their bio you psychoanalyzed, your face gradually came to more closely resemble the heart-eye emoji. "If you choose "right" we could totally get some donuts or something but if you choose 'left's that's cool". It would be much appreciated!

Claudia outs Hayden and then doesn't give him a public response.

Another added: "It's been four hours and I'm stressing out by the fact that I don't know if she swiped left or right, ' and a third wrote: 'Did she she email left or right".

And yes, Alley said the two are planning a doughnut date for later this week.

Soon afterwards, Hayden replied to her tweet, writing: "Hey that's me", of his search that has since gone viral. If Tinder provided last names this would be much easier but it doesn't, so I have to describe the profile to you.

The Independent has contacted Moll for comment.
