Apple wants you to put your medical records on the iPhone

iOS 11.3 preview doesn't include any iPad specific features

Four new Animojis will be introduced to iPhone X.

Apple iOS 11.3 brings dedicated Business Chat for users to communicate directly with businesses right within Messages.

Previously, the company said its software updates for the iPhone 6, iPhone 6S, iPhone SE and iPhone 7 aimed to "smooth out" peak power demands, avoid unexpected shutdowns and extend the lifespan of batteries. Another new feature is Health Records in the Health app, which is created to keep all of your medical records in one place.

The iOS 11.3 update would be coming iPhones (at least iPhone 5s) this spring. Users having iPhone 6 and later models can found this feature under Setting - Battery. The updates include a new Health Records tool, enhancement of ARKit, and four new Animoji.

Other updates arriving with iOS 11.3 include the arrival of music video streaming on Apple Music, the introduction of a "Video" group in the "For You" section of Apple News, HomeKit software authentication, and support for Advanced Mobile Location (AML) to automatically send the user's location when they are making a call to the emergency services.

The CPU Manager feature in iOS 11.3 will allow iPhone users to tweak the performance of their device as per their needs and preferences. Apple says that "in addition to horizontal surfaces like tables and chairs, ARKit can now recognise and place virtual objects on vertical surfaces like walls and doors, and can more accurately map irregularly shaped surfaces like circular tables".

Animoji are animated emoji which use the iPhone X's facial scanning technology to animate characters based on the movements of a user's face.

As of now, Apple has re-introduced "Messages in iCloud" feature in its new beta version of 11.3.

But perhaps the biggest change is the much-needed power management feature to the battery settings in iOS 11.3.

Essentially, it's a new feature in Messages that lets you talk to a service rep from a participating company via chat, letting you voice complaints, ask questions, and even buy recommended items directly from the exchange. At the moment, Apple has released a developer preview of the software for the iOS Developer Program members, and will be releasing a test build for the public sometime in the next few weeks.

This spring, Apple plans to launch a new update for its iOS 11.3 Beta.
