People are obsessing over Tom Brady kissing his 11-year-old son

'Family and football.' Tom Brady poses for Super Bowl pictures with family

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is being criticized on social media after he is seen kissing his 11-year-old son on the lips twice during a docuseries show about Brady. In a recent episode, the 40-year-old star was receiving a body massage when his oldest son, Jack, entered the room to ask if he could use the computer to check his fantasy football stats. Apparently his son gave him a quick peck, and when Brady asked for a longer one, the kid delivered. Twitter penalized Brady for everything from the placement of the kiss to its duration, which some people decided was too long and inappropriate.

The quarterback, who is seeking his sixth National Football League title with the Patriots at Super Bowl LII on Sunday, received a lot of negative feedback on social media for the video.

Brady replies to his son's question with a question of his own, "What do I get?"

Before he can get out the door, Brady says, "That was like a peck".

"Jack returns, leans over again and kisses his father on the mouth a second time".

Jack, whose real name is John Edward Thomas Moynahan, is Tom's son from a previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan. The comments ranged from "too long, like romantic long" to "I'm a little uncomfortable with that".

He has two younger children, eight-year-old Benjamin and five-year-old Vivian, with his Brazilian supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen.

CBS New York took its cameras out on the street and polled folks about the kiss, which has spawned online conversations about how parents should and shouldn't show their children affection.

Another user wrote that as someone who comes from 'One Of Those Kissing Families, ' he wanted to defend the father-son smooch, but concluded that 'the kiss is pretty weird'. "If you hug too much- people need to back off and stop parent shaming", Stern says. "I kiss my son on his lips", one dad said.

This isn't unusual behavior for Brady, he's a kiss-on-the-lips kind of guy.
