Wizards point guard John Wall is out for six weeks

He entered Tuesday night's game against Cleveland averaging 14.7 points and 15.1 rebounds. Therefore, he will be forced to sit out of his fifth-career All-Star Game, leaving Team LeBron with a vacancy.

Wall is just one of now three All-Stars who will have to miss the game due to injury.

Prior to going without an All-Star last season, the Heat had a representative at the event every year since 2005. Coach Stan Van Gundy has shown a willingness to run part of Detroit's offense through Drummond on the high and low post and the athletic center has already had more assists this season than in his first five seasons combined.

Because Wall was representing the Eastern Conference, his replacement must be from that side also, hence why Lou Williams wasn't upset this time around.

Charlotte's Kemba Walker, Philadelphia's Ben Simmons, Detroit's Andre Drummond, and Miami's Goran Dragic will likely be in consideration for the spot. You can make the argument that there hasn't been a better rookie campaign since LeBron James in 2003-2004.

Draymond Green said Celtics guard Jaylen Brown should have been the replacement. He's averaging 16.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 1.8 steals per game, statistics that are historically indicative of All-Star player, regardless of his status as a rookie. Additionally, Drummond's making 54.9 percent of his shots and 61.9 percent of his free throws, another drastic improvement. After Drummond was given the All-Star game berth, Brown took to Twitter to show his confusion at the perceived snub.

Newly acquired Pistons forward Blake Griffin tweeted out his congratulations for Drummond.
