If being accused of adultery was not enough for Mohammed Shami, the pacer's wife Hasin Jahan has now said the Indian cricket team player 'can cheat the country too'. Earlier on Wednesday, Jahan met senior cops in her lawyer's presence during her three-and-a-half-hour visit, which came a day after she posted a series of screenshots of text messages on Facebook, claiming that they were conversations between Shami and other women.

Fast bowler Mohammad Shami's contract with India's Cricket Board has been put on hold while an investigation is carried out into "unsavoury" claims. She said that this has been happening for five years. Shami told his brother in UP to kill me and bury my body in some jungle. "He regularly calls these women to his hotel rooms whenever he is visiting these cities". Hasin also said that when Indian team tours overseas, some members are provided with "girls' for some fun and named broker Kuldeep behind arranging for such girls". Shami has denied all the accusations against him and has termed them baseless.

"Some might accuse BCCI that a player has been rewarded despite such serious allegations, including an attempt to murder, are being levelled against him by his wife", he added.

After making all the above revelations, she also revealed in an interview given to DNA that once Mohammad Shami even wanted to commit suicide.

"I tried to contact Hasin but she did not pick up my phone but will meet her soon".

Stating that she would approach the police, Jahan said: "I tried to convince myself for the sake of my family and daughter but he kept on harassing me and when I found those obscene chats with multiple women, all hell broke. I can not tolerate this anymore and I have chose to take legal action with all the available evidence". The tortures continued till 2-3 am in the morning.
