Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown took a scary fall during Thursday night's National Basketball Association game against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center.

The play occurred when Brown raced to the rim after stealing the ball and dunked it while being fouled by Timberwolves swingman Andrew Wiggins with 1:31 left in the third. He stayed down for several minutes, and a stretcher was rushed out. After a couple of more minutes, Brown sat up and then walked to the locker room under his own power as fans gave him a standing ovation. Reed, who did not make his Suns debut until January 14 due to a knee injury suffered during the summer, played 16 minutes and finished with two points on 1-for-7 shooting and three rebounds. The fall was a scary one, and Brown can consider himself lucky if he only has a concussion and will miss a few games.

Not again, especially for the Boston Celtics.

Al Horford was sitting directly next to Brown on the floor right after his horrific fall from the rim. "We were just happy to see him on his feet and walking off on his own".

Reigning MVP Russell Westbrook was efficient in the Oklahoma City Thunder's 115-87 win over the Phoenix Suns with 27 points on 11-of-14 shooting.

Paul George added 21 points, Corey Brewer had 17, Steven Adams 16 and Carmelo Anthony 11.

The aforementioned game against Memphis was the best of Jackson's career to date, as he scored 29 points on 10-for-13 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds.

Heat 108, 76ers 99: Hassan Whiteside scored 26 points, Dwyane Wade added 16 and the Miami Heat moved a step closer to the playoffs by beating the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday night.

Rose to Timberwolves: Derrick Rose signed with Minnesota for the remainder of the season, reuniting the point guard with Thibodeau. Marcus Morris, Terry Rozier and Marcus Smart all played a big role.
