Wonder Woman 2 will hit theaters in December next year

Director Patty Jenkins has announced that Kristen Wiig is on board to essay the role of antagonist Cheetah in "Wonder Woman 2". Cant wait to finally work with one of my favorites.

Now that Kristen Wiig has officially signed on as a member of the Wonder Woman 2 ensemble, we will have to keep our eyes peeled for the first official look at her in her feline form. Last year, Wonder Woman was one of the most successful films of the year. "And SO excited by what we have planned", Jenkins wrote.

Star Gal Gadot welcomed Wiig to the cast in a follow-up post and added, "This is going to be WONDERful". We have to admit, this is turning out to be even better than before.

Wonder Woman, which took place during World War II, is now available on Blu-ray and DVD, and via streaming platforms, following its June 2017 theatrical release. Beyond Jenkins promising that Wonder Woman 2 will be totally different from Diana's origin story, development has been kept under wraps. We can't wait for this epic clash between two ferocious. But in recruiting Wiig to a DC villain role that could have gone in a troubling direction, the filmmakers have added a promising piece to this project. They love to monologue and they love to lie, both skills Wiig perfected with her just-left-of-sociopath character Penelope, habitual hyperbolizer (a word I just made up and that you should feel free to spread around).
