Fortnite Is Out Now On Mobile And It Changes Everything

Fortnite

Taking to the official forums, Epic Games announced that the update will land for all platforms, and won't actually require any title updating, so you won't have to have any gaming downtime. The higher the rarity is, the higher is the price.

Epic Games have already confirmed that cross-progression is available in Fortnite, meaning fans can complete the new Challenges on both console, PC and mobile.

The Vending Machine Locations have been pinpointed on this map. If you find yourself with too many resources and not enough firepower in your matches, vending machines could very well be the answer to your problems. These will each randomly pick a rarity and then sell three items at that level in exchange for materials. "Every other week we will drop new content without the need for an update", Epic explained.

Vending Machines come as part of the most recent Fortnite update, and work just as you might imagine them to: to purchase a trade materials. Each machine is also on a timer so the three items being offered will switch often, though players can hit them with a pickaxe to speed up the timer.

Epic has kept a pretty consistent update schedule for Fortnite, introducing a new patch almost every week.

There are five different vending machine types. Most importantly, balance changes are being implemented for the weapons.

These aren't simply buffs for the weapons, as damage falloff-the distance at which their damage is reduced-has also been altered. The week in-between will play host to "content updates" such as the one we're getting today.

Patch 3.4 released last week, so this week is the first of the Content Updates.
