Cong Prez Rahul to start 6th leg of tour in poll-bound Karnataka from today

Pegging his confidence on opposition unity, Congress president Rahul Gandhi asserted on Sunday that not only will BJP lose the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi might lose his Varanasi seat if his party, the Samajwadi Party and the BSP were united against him.

He added: "Time is running out for Modi and his government".

RAFALE, 40,000 Cr. loss to exchequer was "Sayonara" money to French, so PM could re-tender contract and favour friends, "Gandhi said. We will take over Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Chattisgarh".

Talking about the recent coalition between the state parties, he said, "where BJP going to win seats?".

Congress president Rahul Gandhi concluded the phase six of his campaign in Karnataka-a state that is now under the party's rule.

According to the AICC General secretary, 'Congress president Rahul Gandhi has directed to organise a nationwide fast to protect and promote communal harmony between different sections of society across the country on April 9 in all states and district headquarters'.

Gandhi will tour in Kolar, Chikkaballapura and Bengaluru as part of his sixth leg of poll campaign in the state, party sources said. "Party president Rahul Gandhi will also be a key participant in all these events", a senior party leader involved in the party organization said requesting anonymity.

The basic thing is how to get the country out of the "mess that Mr Modi and RSS has put it in", he said.

"What is happening to Dalits across the country is disgusting and terrible and our prime minister has nothing to say".

Responding to a question, he blamed "mentality" for Mr Modi and BJP losing track. He said that India will have to pay hugely due to PM Modi's landmark November 8 demonetisation decision. They stand in front of Basavanna, the 12th century social reformer from Karnataka or Dr BR Ambedkar, "praise them, and then you destroy everything that they stood for".

Later, addressing a huge rally at the party's "Jan Ashirvada Yatra" to seek the people's blessings for the Congress victory in the ensuing assembly election, Gandhi said Modi failed to fulfil a single promise he made to the youth of the country.
