The attacks, which killed a number of Iranian fighters who were allied to Bashar al-Assad's regime, are believed to have come in response to an alleged chemical attack on Saturday.
"Through the relevant channels we already conveyed to the USA that armed force under mendacious pretext against Syria - where, at the request of the legitimate government of a country, Russian troops have been deployed - could lead to grave repercussions", he said.
Global condemnation grew over a suspected poison gas attack in a rebel-held town near Damascus said to have been carried out by the Syrian government, while Syria and its main ally, Russia, blamed Israel for airstrikes on a Syrian air base that reportedly killed 14 people, including four Iranians. The Pentagon denies launching airstrikes on Syria.
"We are on the edge of a unsafe precipice", she said.
In February, Macron had said "France will strike" in the event of a lethal chemical weapon attack on civilians by government forces in Syria.
Then, within days the United States military fired cruise missiles at a Syrian airfield where the sarin attack had been launched from.
Israeli jets fired eight guided missiles at an airbase in Syria's Homs province, five of which were intercepted, according to Russian Defense Ministry on Monday.
Syrian state media, citing a military source, carried a similar report. It said the attack left people dead and wounded.
The Israeli government had no immediate comment.
Israel's military claimed earlier this year that Damascus had allowed Iran's Revolutionary Guard to operate the T-4 military site, according to the Times of Israel.
Israeli opposition lawmaker Yair Lapid told Army Radio: "Israel will not accept an Iranian military presence in Syria and will not accept Iran's creeping entrenchment in Syria and this has costs".
Speaking in Washington, President Donald Trump vowed earlier that "major decisions" would be made in the "next 24-48 hours" as Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said he wasn't ruling out military action.
"It's time. We were successful against ISIS", Trump said.
Trump had earlier said that Syrian allies Russian Federation and Iran may also bear some responsibility for the alleged chemical attack on April 7 in the rebel-held town of Douma, near Damascus, in which at least 40 people were reportedly killed.
The state SANA news agency says the people were freed around midnight on Sunday.
"The numbers keep rising as relief workers struggle to gain access to the subterranean areas where gas has entered and hundreds of families had sought refuge", the group said.
One video shared by activists showed bodies of about a dozen children, women and men, some with foam at the mouth.
Those reports could not be independently verified because of a government blockade around the town.
The Syrian state news agency SANA reported a missile attack on the country on Monday morning, while US officials are saying the military has not launched any strikes. The gas attack was blamed on Assad.
In his tweets Sunday, Trump called Assad an "animal" and delivered a rare personal criticism of Russian President Vladimir Putin for supporting him.
Moscow said some 8,000 fighters and 40,000 civilians would be bussed out and said that proved "no chemical weapons were used in this area".
Russian Federation and Syria both offered during the U.N. Security Council meeting on Monday to take OPCW investigators to Douma.
UOSSM said doctors could not determine the origin of the chemical attacks.
