Those that are already Spotify Premium Subscribers can take advantage of the offer now, but if you're using the free account you'll need to wait until this summer when the deal is extended.
The plan will put your Spotify Premium and Hulu accounts on one bill.
It's because back in February, a number of US Spotify users reported that they'd received an offer inside the app for a new device that would come included as part of a $12.99-per-month subscription. Hulu and Spotify began offering a bundled subscription package to college students in September for $5.99 per month.
Based on the outstanding performance of the Spotify and Hulu student package, its clear that consumers love to combine their music and television experiences together, said Tim Connolly, SVP, Head of Distribution and Partnerships at Hulu.
Spotify is also giving a discount for PS4 gamers with 10% off on their monthly Spotify Premium sevice.
"Our student launch with Hulu was incredibly well received and we are excited to extend our reach by bringing Hulu to more of our Premium members in the U.S.", said Alex Norstrom, Chief Premium Business Officer at Spotify. Further, Alex Norstrom added, "With this exclusive Spotify offer, we are bundling two top media platforms for an unbeatable price".
Still, it's a nice little bonus for music-loving gamers.
In another attempt to pull away from the pack, Spotify may soon announce a software update for their free mobile service, according to Bloomberg.
This is not the first time both the companies have cooperated on a joint arrangement. The free service generates customers that the company can steer into its paid offerings.
