Officials say that Nadia is expected to remain at the post of Deputy National Security Adviser until 27th April, to ensure the smooth transition of duties to her successor. The strategy has set a strong foundation going forward for protecting the homeland, promoting American prosperity, preserving peace through strength and advancing American influence.

She was a trusted confidante of former national security adviser H.R. McMaster and a respected member of the NSC who emphasized the importance of diplomacy and soft power in USA interventions overseas.

White House officials told Fox News Schadlow discussed her resignation with Bolton to allow him to build his own leadership team at the NSC. Recently, Trump's national security spokesperson Michael Anton quit the White House to return to writing and academics.

"We wish Nadia and her family the best".

Bolton reportedly asked for Bossert's resignation on Tuesday but White House press secretary Sarah Sanders did not elaborate on that detail.

Bossert, who also served in the George W. Bush administration, wasn't a marquee name, but he was liked by Trump, senior administration officials said, and often defended his agenda in meetings and in interviews with the media. The common denominator, as noted by many media outlets, is newly appointed national security advisor John Bolton. Bolton officially began at the White House on Monday.

"Bolton is in a position right now of figuring out, 'how do I stop the leaks if I'm using the same people?' It's not that he wants to clean house", but does need to bring in his own people, a former USA official who worked closely with Bolton told The Daily Caller.
