Messi has Golden Shoe all wrapped up

The Argentina captain told TyC Sports channel programme "Libero" (via Sport): "It would be bad [if Neymar moved to Madrid] because of everything he means to Barcelona". He won the Champions League [and] La Liga [titles].

However, one Barcelona star thinks Neymar should not consider a switch back to Spain especially to a club of Real Madrid caliber insisting that it will be a blow to the Catalans as he will make the Los Blancos stronger than they are.

Neymar left Barcelona last August, becoming the world's most expensive soccer player in a transfer that upset many Barcelona fans.

In addition to that, whilst he was initially slow to find his scoring boots with Manchester United, once he reached Real Madrid in 2009, he has been unstoppable, scoring 105 goals in just 100 games!

In an interview with Marca, Benítez was asked how should Real Madrid stop Salah like Alvaro Arbeloa did against Messi, when the Spanish manager guided Liverpool to a famous 2-1 win at the Camp Nou in 2007.

"I won't find anywhere better than this for me".

"I don't need to go to another team to prove anything to anybody, "Messi said". Not only that, it is Cristiano Ronaldo in a Champions League final, which is a stern test for a 19-year-old defender.

That defeat, coupled with similar failures in two Copa America finals, prompted the forward to suggest Argentina's senior players would have to retire from worldwide football if they fail in Russian Federation.

Messi also gave his views on Brazil's World Cup chances and felt that Argentina's South American counterparts have the ability to win the coveted tournament which starts in June.

"It's a weight that we carry and we want to overcome it", he said.
