Reports from TMZ claim Samantha sustained a fractured knee and broken ankle and was taken to hospital.

"They were driving in Florida near a toll booth when they had a "paparazzi confrontation".

Samantha's boyfriend says he attempted to swerve out of the way to avoid them and hit a concrete barrier.

On Tuesday, Samantha admitted she had encouraged her father to stage paparazzi photos of himself preparing for the wedding - something Thomas Sr says he's "deeply embarrassed" about now, while Thomas Jr published a nasty open letter in a United States magazine calling Meghan a "below C average Hollywood actress".

Meghan has reportedly never been close to her half-siblings, including Samantha and Thomas Jr.

Her foot was twisted backwards and he rushed to the hospital where she is reportedly being treated by doctors.

Samantha has also found herself pinned as the villain in her princess-to-be sister's fairytale after taking responsibility for the "staged" paparazzi photos of her father. She's way out of her league to tell me that I can't speak.

The Royal Wedding has taken another huge dramatic turn on the same day Meghan's dad was taken into surgery for a major heart operation.

Kensington Palace, which had previously confirmed Thomas would walk Meghan down the aisle, then released a statement saying: "This is a deeply personal moment for Ms Markle in the days before her wedding".

Samantha has been publicly vocal about her alleged experiences with her half-sister Meghan, since the announcement of the former Suits actress' engagement to Prince Harry.

"I have to say I am entirely the culprit", she said in an interview with ITV's Loose Women.

"You've spent the last two years criticising her, you called her narcissistic, selfish, that Hollywood has changed her and that Prince Harry shouldn't marry her, yet you have the gall to blame media vultures".

"The media was unfairly making him look bad so I suggested he do positive photos for his benefit and the benefit of the royal family", she wrote.
